Wee Britain was founded by MrSchteven88 during Revision 7. The city was built on a Plains biome and it is a quirky caricature of American stereotypes of the U.K. It has been perpetrated by European players as a reminder that whilst the server is US-based, the player base is diverse and comes from around the world. The build quality in Wee Britain is higher than average, and features typically British buildings such as tea rooms.
Wee Britain is a short walk south of Darco Terminal. There is also a rail connection to Wee Britain station from Darco Terminal.
Notable builds
Wee Britain Station
Wee Britain station is an elegant brick and stone building, and amongst one of the best-looking stations on the server. Wee Britain has local subway connections to New Amsterdam and Darco Terminal. A long-distance station is planned, but currently has no connections. It is also possible to walk a short distance south to Wellspring.
Red Stone Inn
Red Stone Inn is situated along the main street of Wee Britain, on the north side just where the road begins to descend. The exterior is smartly finished, and the interior is carefully detailed, with an open fireplace, a bar, and seating areas. Upstairs is a lounge with a balcony, the view from which has been unfortunately obstructed by new constructions. The top floor contains four sparsely furnished rooms.
Pub Building Competition
Wee Britain run a Pub Building Competition. The winners were:
thelethalkind in 1st Place, with The Speckled Egg Pub.
Masonbuckyall in 2nd Place, with The Half and Half Pub, formerly The Werewolf and the Mermaid.
Aharito in 3rd Place with an unfinished Pub.
The Blimp
While not strictly part of Wee Britain, this large blue and white dirigible dominates the bay west of the town area. The Blimp was built by Esartii.
