As a midway-bypass station, Avalon lies between two designated hub locations, neither of which have been constructed yet. Heading south, the first station from Avalon is [[Industrial Station]]. To the north is [[7segment Station]] and the end of the [[Iron Line]].

== Construction ==

Avalon was built as an example of a minimal midway-bypass station for the [[Metro Rail]] by [[User:klange|klange]] starting at the end of December 2010. Its final construction was completed 4 January 2011. Avalon features empty cart removal and smooth track forks and merges.
