-The Chessboard is a creation on the 5th revision of the [[Survival]] server. It is made of cobblestone and sandstone, which represent the black and white pieces, respectively. It was constructed in its entirety by lethargic_lad because he has too much time on his hands.
-The size of the chess board is 151 blocks by 151 blocks, with each square is measured 19 by 19. 361 stacks of material were consumed to build the playing board.
-The pieces range in height, from the pawn at just 20 blocks high, to the king at 46 blocks high.
-An observation deck was added to allow sightseers to take pictures. There is no admission charge for the deck, but the suggested donation for upkeep is 1 cobble.
