The Netherbox was a project created by Verros, more of a test than anything, to mix the over-world (minecraft regular world) with the nether world.
At first, the Netherbox had all it's tree set on fire and a few patches of land changed from dirt to netherrack. It evolved from that to adding glowstone in chunks to the roof (regular nether layout), all the land changed to netherrack or soul sand, an outpost being built, and a roof running through the box. Overall, this test was successful and proved a valuable source of information for future projects.
