This template is used to mark a section for splitting to another page.

Pages with this template on are added to Category:Pending split.

Usage

{{split section|(optional but recommended) Page name to split to|Optional reason}}

If you just want to put a reason but not a page name, use:

{{split section||Optional reason}}
