How it started
marting11 decided to try building an interchange (Exit 16) near his mansion in the northeast snowy area. Since having an interchange without a highway was boring, he decided to continue the highway north.
A fresh extension of the map has made the building of a straight or mostly straight highway easier. The highway was slowly built with some helpers, notably LetsBFehr and WayneByNumbers.

Canada
At Exit 27 (/warp Northeast),a small development was created by OreoToast_QW and Legomastercj, who were quickly joined by others. The area was quickly called "Canada" after a Tim Hortons and a hockey rink were built.

Winter Boulevard
The building of the highway briefly stopped near the site of Exit 36. The Winter Boulevard was then created. It connects Exit 36 to the first interchange at Exit 16, going around the builds of the snowy northeast area.
