The Northeast Alliance, or NEA for short, is an alliance of Ambrosia, Argoth, and Yowie. The mayors of all three cities decided in advance of the start of Rev 17 to head out from Spawn in a generally north-easterly direction to find somewhere attractive to build, with a central area between the cities.
Despite not specifically intending to find a nether portal, one was claimed within a couple of hours of Rev 17 starting. The hunt then began for a suitable area to build in, and a plains to the north-west of the portal was chosen.
