Spawn is the building/area where players spawn the first time they join the server. It is usually located at the center of the map, and it contains the rules of the server, the spawn nether portal, free food and other treats to help equip freshly joined players before venturing outside.

Design

PvE Spawn (r16) brought a futuristic theme to the revision, with an elegant quartz tower surrounded by gardens and spawn secrets for players to find.

Players spawned at the very top of the tower, where they could read all the rules and commands, as well as other general and useful information about the server, the revision and the map. From there, warp signs would take them to the the Community Lounge, which contained a list of cities and announcements from the community; to the Official Events hub, where server events (such as Admin Hunts) would be organised; and finally, to the bottom floor, where players could venture into the world following eight cardinal roads. The Nether Portal and the spawn secrets would be also found at the bottom floor.

Spawn didn't host a Rail Station inside its buildings, which became the new norm from Revision 12 onwards.
