Kalmos is located in the Taiga biome just north of Spawn. It is surrounded by tall, medieval-style stone brick walls that keep it safe from "derp". Kalmos has rails from Spawn, Deerside, Wellspring, Port 80, and Xite. The closest portal to Kalmos is the Spawn portal.
History
Kalmos was originally founded by Asterix1806 and Clayalien in Revision 8. Several other members, including Legofan970, joined soon afterwards. Located just north of Argoth, it was temporarily named North-Argoth but its name was later changed to reflect its status as an independent town. In Revision 8, there was only one section of Kalmos (which most closely resembled Human) and only wooden buildings were permitted. Main attractions included its crying melon farm, the Vault, and a Player vs. Cave Spider arena.
Kalmos returned bigger and better than ever for Revision 9 and now has a more flexible building code, multiple districts, four active mayors, and many highly active citizens.
Theme
Kalmos is divided in three districts, Human District, Magic District, and Steam District. Human District, located on the western side of Kalmos, is renowned for its medieval-style houses and castles, made mostly of wood and stone brick. Magic District, located on the eastern side of Kalmos, contains treehouses, mushroom houses, and great ruined towers in a magical snowy jungle. The brand-new Steam district is located in a northern extension to Kalmos and will contain Kalmos' villagers and steampunk-themed buildings.
Kalmos is very much open to new residents and anyone interested is free to come check it out!
