The relay bot was created by edk, and uses a special minecraft IRC client, source is here, https://github.com/edk141/IAmARelayBotAMA The relay bot currently relays chat to http://glin.es/chat/survival and #RedditMC-S, #RedditMC-C and #RedditMC-P on GameSurge. It is hosted by edk and currently is running on RozzNet's Vimes IRC box.
As of Friday, August 30th, 2013 the RelayBot has been successfully killed on Survival, and hasn't been seen again to this day :(
