Spawn is the building/area where players spawn the first time they join the server. It is usually located at the center of the map, and it contains the rules of the server, the spawn nether portal, free food and other treats to help equip freshly joined players before venturing outside.
Design
The Spawn Building, also known as The Flowercopter, was created by Silversunset01 during Revision 17. Its shape resembles a floral flying saucer, decorated with an intricate geometrical design. Players would spawn inside the Flowercopter, in a room that contained all the rules and commands, as well as other general and useful information about the server, the revision and the map. This room was connected to four others, one with the Protections Tutorial; another with a warp to The End; two custom villagers, that traded diamonds for beetroot seeds, elytra and dragon heads, and that had their own space; and the final one contained stairs that led to the Elytra Tower, which was introduced later on the revision. At the center, players would find a warp sign that would take them to the surface of the map.
At the surface, players would be taken aback by the incredible attention to detail and beautiful gardens, where the Nether Portal, free food (melons), and some spawn secrets could be found. Around the center of Spawn, 52 empty houses were available for players and cities to build and feature their own Embassies.
Spawn didn't host a Rail Station inside its buildings, which became the new norm from Revision 12 onwards.
