It was the first city in rev 9 to have a wiki page, connect a rail to spawn, connect to South Road, connect to East Road, have a legitimate library and was one of the first to have an embassy at the UMC. Town Features
Districts
When Port Aperture was expanding, we were boxed in by small towns and builds near us. So we came up with a way to solve it. The solution was Districts. Districts offered the original owners of the land to maintain control, while also being part of a larger, expanding city. Port Aperture currently has 4 districts including the main district.
Fawlty Towers Distric
Fawlty Tower is nothing more than just an area where buildings must be over 50 blocks higher than sea level. It is owned and managed the same way Central Port Aperture is. All building rules of Central Port Aperture apply here(excluding the height rule).
Councillor for Fawlty Towers:
Central Port Aperture
Central Port Aperture is the main part of Port Aperture. It is where the essential buildings(such as the town hall, railway and farms) are located and where the main plots are.
Building regulations include:
- No Cobble or Dirt Houses(They can only used for decorations and must not take up more than 30%)
- Owner of a building must be stated by a sign at the front door.
- Buildings must be under 30 blocks high(Anything higher is considered a tower and should be in the Fawlty Towers District)
- Progress must be made on the plot within the first day or the plot is reclaimed.
Cotton Wood District
Cotton Wood is a district started up by hollen_B. They have strict building regulations where buildings must be made out of wood and wool.

Monorail
Port Aperture features a monorail providing quick and scenic access to different areas within town. It takes roughly 3 minutes to complete a circuit around the length of the route. It was designed and architected by johnl1479.

Street Names
After many new residents were getting lost, Port Aperture decided to name their roads. There is now 99.9999% less derp.
