Avalon was built as an example of a minimal midway-bypass station for the [[Metro Rail]] by [[User:klange|klange]] starting at the end of December 2010. Its final construction was completed 4 January 2011. Avalon features empty cart removal and smooth track forks and merges.

Avalon Station is a Metro Rail midway-bypass station on the Iron Line, between the industrial warp point and the 7-segment display. Its stop designator is /st avalon.
