The Water Domes are a group of experimental research facilities built by Atlantic Tech. So far, there are 3 water domes; the Alpha Water Dome, the Beta Water Dome, and the Gamma Water Dome.

History

The first dome constructed was the Alpha Water Dome. It's goal was to research and preserve the waters of the area. Initially, it was only a small building on the side of the Tilrose river, with ambitious plans being imagined to expand it. The facility's members grew more indecisive over the purpose and the future of the dome. On one hand, some people wanted to keep it as only a small and non intrusive site, while others wished that it would continue to grow and potentially grow a small town around it. Eventually, Atlantic Tech offered to buy the water dome, due to their growing success and wealth. This sparked a large debate among the facilities members, as they all knew that Atlantic Tech industrializes everything they get their hands on, but some viewed it as a positive and others as a negative. The supporters eventually won out, and signed a deal with Atlantic Tech that allowed them to use their blueprints for the Alpha Water Dome (the plans for expansion made they had made), along with owning the idea, rights, and design. The members who were against the company were outraged, and quit working soon after. After building the dome, Atlantic Tech continued to build more facilities. The Beta Water Dome was built soon after construction on the Alpha dome was finished. It focused on minimalizing the design, while still making it sustainable. The Gamma Water Dome is currently under construction, and is built in the tundra, being partially submerged in an underwater lake.

The former workers of the facility have since come together to stop Atlantic Tech. They plan on buying the land that the corporation wants, and will use it as a nature conservation as opposed to an industrialized research site, and will begin their work later this year.
