The city of Venlantis was rediscovered by Kirstae during [[PvE r21|rev21]]. She was an explorer at the time and worked hard to preserve what was left of this once rich culture. Venlantis used to be the capital city and was home to over 40,000 merpeople and foreign merchants. They lived completely submerged, in houses built using all the variants of prismarine and sandstone. These houses were modest and often frugally furnished with beds and other essentials. They highly valued their culture and commerce and built glorious squares to host community events and markets, attracting many foreign travelers and developing strong trade networks with other civilizations. Another centerpiece of their culture was the seahorse, a symbol of power and strength to the people of Venlantis. It was often carved into buildings and objects to provide protection in times of peril and danger. Ironically, the merpeople did not realize that their capital was built on top of a major fault zone, extremely prone to earthquakes and volcanic activity. So far, no one knows for sure when it happened exactly, but the place they chose to call home sealed their own fate. | The city of Venlantis was rediscovered by Kirstae during [[PvE r21|rev21]]. Lost City of Venlantis
The city of Venlantis was rediscovered by Kirstae during rev21. So far, no one knows for sure when it happened exactly, but the place they chose to call home soon sealed their own fate.
Kaktos Island
The island of Kaktos was a conservation effort to rebuild the cacti population once decimated by imported animals. Nowadays, this island is a protected reserve.
Museum of Clucky
The Museum of Clucky was built in honor of Clucky, who started his life out like any other chicke (thought it is still unknown what came first, the egg or the chicken). Clucky's best friend was a snowman named Larry. Anywhere Larry went, Clucky was not far behind. Clucky's life was not all that simple though. The land was ravaged by creepers, and one creeper in particular, who was jealous of the wonderful life Clucky lived, made its way inside of Clucky's pen. It waited until Spooker came back from her adventure, ready to ambush at any moment. But before the Creeper could explode Spooker, Clucky heroically dove in front of the creeper, sacrificing himself so Spooker could live. Clucky was reborn as a god. He blesses those who are kind to all chickens and to those who pay their respects.
Notable Builds and Events
Pico's Embassy
As an effort to develop stronger diplomatic ties with other cities and towns, Pico set up a program to establish embassies around the server. The one in Venice was built by schererererer and decorated by kumquatmay and can be found at -253, 2543.
