Nestled in the far North-East corner of the world, lit by the rippling candescence of an ornate nether portal, sits Halcyon, a small town founded by Smirkules, zedadex and Armas_DSasi during Revision 26. Halcyon also had aesthetic and moral contributions by their friends.
Overwolrd
The overworld town is in large part the product of Smirkules' vivid creative drive, with vibrant blue nylium trees and foliage draped over custom basalt terrain. From the center outwards we find the Nether Portal and the Plaza, which is ringed by the Rail Station, library and storage complex, and of course, Smirkules' signature Brewery (the outside of this brewery was designed by Armas_DSasi). If we continue farther out, we find various villagers, in their respective shops and workshops, a lovely chapel built by Shnozzles, the entrance to Halcyon Foundations (by Armas_DSasi), the farm and barns (by Smirkules), and the Skeleton Monument, that also functions as a grinder, built by Armas_DSasi. At the southern point there is the dock, with a boat built by Smirkules, and even further below various grinders can be found (pumpkin, iron, slime, gunpowder), all built by zedadex and Armas_DSasi.
Nether
Through the portal in the center of Halcyon, dimly lit by the glow of a lava lake, is the towering Halcyon Necropolis, built by Armas_DSasi with contributions from friends all over the server, and valuable help and input from Squaresthere. Below the portal, down winding stairways, hangs the Heart of the Nether, its slow relentless pounding like the beat of a great doom-drum.
