The Melon Cathedral was an impressive and massive project undertaken by Narissis during Revision 25. The color palette and motives are appetising, and the theme, intentionally or not, unearths memories from a distant (or not so distant) past were melons were adored as deities, like the Molon Lord, which had multiple representation over the years, as well as being the source of inspiration for different temples and cities (Molonopolis, Molon Town). Another example of a melon inspired structure was the MolonStar.
The Melon Cathedral was nominated to the Rev 25 PvE Awards's "Best Personal Build" category.
Materials
- Exterior: mostly stone bricks, polished andesite, andesite, chiseled stone, melons, red mushroom blocks and stained glass.
- Interior: mostly quartz, polished diorite, smooth sandstone, dark oak, smooth stone, melons, red mushroom blocks and carpets for the interior (the grand pipe organ also had red sandstone details).
- Roof: dark prismarine and nether brick for the roof.
